William “Bill” Urban is a Knights of Columbus Field Agent with the M. Stice Agency, serving brother Knights and their families in Northeast Philadelphia and Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bill has been a member of the Knights of Columbus since 2013 and became a Field Agent for the Order in 2017.

When asked why he became a field agent, Bill said, “Fulfilling Father McGivney’s vision of protecting Catholic families is personal for me. Having lost my father at a young age, I saw the struggles my mother went through raising five children. Preventing the financial hardship doesn’t take away the loss but it takes away part of the worry of how to move forward.”
Originally from Philadelphia, Bill graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1984. He then completed several business classes and received his insurance license in 2017 and his series 65 security license in 2023.

Prior to becoming a Field Agent, Bill worked at a print shop running presses for 30 years. During his time at the print shop, Bill also worked in Real Estate part time for 10 years. Finance has always been a hoppy of his from the time he was a young man. He enjoys investing and watching the markets which made the move to become a Knights of Columbus Field Agent a very easy decision.

Bill has been married to his wife, Lisa, since 1992. Bill and Lisa have three adult children and one grandchild. Bill and Lisa currently reside in Northeast Philadelphia in the same neighborhood that Bill grew up in. They are parishioners of Our Lady of Calvary where Bill is a member of the Regina Coeli Council #4921.

In his spare time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and feels blessed to still spend a lot of time with his grown children and that they equally enjoy spending time with him and his wife. He is also an avid skier and golfer. 

When asked what he hopes to achieve for his members, Bill said his goal when he sits with a Brother Knights and his family is to understand their goals and then offer them solutions to attain those goals. While doing that, he strives to protect their family and their current assets to the best of his ability.

Bill has extensive knowledge of the products the Knights of Columbus offers to members and their families and stands ready to help them achieve their financial goals.
